We are delighted to have been awarded for the second year running the Green Gold Tourism Award, which recognises businesses that actively work to reduce their environmental impact. The assessment highlights our sustainability efforts and the offering of sustainable choices in all aspects of the business—from stationery to lunch menus.
Charlotte Curtis, has worked diligently and collaboratively with all our departments across the business to obtain all the evidence needed to obtain the Gold Award. Thanks to her proactivity and attention to detail, the assessor particularly noted that communication is one of Roehampton Venues’ key strengths in promoting green initiatives. The report also recognised our catering supplier, Elior UK, for its commitment to providing sustainable and ethically produced food options.
The assessment was a great opportunity for us to touch base and reflect on how far we have come in our sustainability journey. Creating touch points for all our guests and prospective clients on our website and regularly raising awareness on social media platforms. As we look to the future, we understand that sustainability is a journey reflected in everyday choices. For this reason, our team continually strives to implement and improve sustainable practices in all aspects of our operations.
