Agadir is the number one tourist resort in Morocco. It has a magnificent bay on the Atlantic, long, fine sandy beaches, a sunny sky for over 300 days a year. It is a good destination for water sports like surfing, jet-ski or the swimming, with ideal weather conditions, in the middle of summer or in the heart of winter. It has the perfect climate to play golf on one of the town’s three courses. With a position between Morocco's two main mountain ranges, the High Atlas and Anti-Atlas Mountains, Agadir is a good place to start excursions into the countryside. Imposing, snow-topped mountains, thundering waterfalls, tiny hamlets and expansive palm groves are among the many sights, not to mention seeing the Berber tribes in their home habitat.
