Belgium is in northwest Europe and is a very accessible & compact country with many meeting & exhibition centres able to take up to 10,000 delegates. It is a founding member of the European Union and hosts its headquarters, as well as those of other major international organizations, including NATO. The country has two regions: the Dutch-speaking region of Flanders in the north and the French-speaking southern region of Wallonia.
