Description
The National Centre for Scientific Research (NCSR) ‘Demokritos’ is a medium-sized research centre (with approximately 850 employees) in selected fields of science and technology. It is located in Aghia Paraskevi, a suburb close to Athens, in a campus covering 600.000.m2 within a pine forest, NCSR “Demokritos” also has a fully equipped Congress Center comprising a complex of rooms, lounges, exhibition spaces, and auditoriums. The Congress Center is open to the scientific and academic communities, to groups from the arts and culture, as well as to the general public, private companies, public services, public sector organizations, scientific and cultural institutions, and international organizations and associations, for scientific, technological and cultural events.
