Description
This complex, built in 1915 is a tribute to quality of the industrial architecture of the period. This 1500 sq m space is on two levels, divided into 3 sections which can be used as a whole or separately. The layout of the Officine del Volo means there are three separate entrances on two private access roads. The building facades are in uncovered brickwork with stone inserts. Their main features are the central pilasters, highlighting the central pointed arch windows giving a cathedral like appearance. There is also a courtyard of 15 square metres on the Northwest side, with square paving stones typical of the period, and an unusual flight of iron steps.
